Welcome Sarah Jankowski to our staff. Sarah has over ten years of experience in providing therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, including older adults. Her experience includes working with a number of behavioral health issues including anxiety, depression, adjustment to life changes/stressors, anger management, trauma, and ADHD.

Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wisconsin Health Care Exchange. At this time LFWC cannot accept this insurance. The network is not accepting any provider additions. We will keep you posted as to when or if we are accepted into the network.

ADOLESCENT SEMINAR SERIES: PART THREE Melinda Somogyi and Beth Paras will be presenting LFWC’S concluding adolescent behavior seminar on Saturday, July 12th at 1pm. They will be focusing on “Adolescent Self-Injury” or self-harm. This seminar will help understand the risk factors associated with self-harm and how to respond if your child presents signs of injuring themselves.

ADOLESCENT SEMINAR SERIES: PART ONE Dr. Beth Johnson and Stacy Hoag will be presenting a seminar on “Adolescent Hormones and Brain Changes” Wednesday, May 14th at 6pm. This is the first of a three part seminar on adolescent behavior that Lakefront Wellness Center will be providing at no charge to the community.

FREE COMMUNITY SCREENER DAY Lakefront Wellness Center will be providing a ‘screener’ for children and adolescents on Saturday, April 19th from 9am-Noon. This will be an opportunity for parents to bring in their children for 20-30 minute consultations with providers to screen for ADHD, Depression, Anxiety and Eating Disorders. Psychologists and Therapists will be on hand to discuss results and schedule follow-up treatment.

SEMINAR Stacy Hoag and Dr. Beth Johnson will be presenting a seminar on “Understanding the Mind of the Middle Schooler” at St. Joan of Arc on Wednesday, April 9. This will be a free resource seminar and open to the public. They will be accompanied by panelists from Lakefront Wellness Center. STAFF ADDITION LFWC is proud to also announce the hiring of Beth Paras, Licensed Professional Counselor. Beth comes to us from the Walworth County Human Services. She brings a wide range of treatments including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Functional Family Therapy (FFT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Beth has experience working with clients of all ages.

STAFF ADDITION LFWC is proud to announce the hiring of Stacy Hoag, Licensed Professional Counselor. Stacy comes to us from the Washington County Mental Health Center. Stacy specializes in child and adolescent therapy, as well as drug and alcohol abuse as she is near completing her AODA certification.

STAFF ADDITION LFWC is proud to announce the hiring of Dr. Kim Gorecki, Clinical Psychologist. We welcome Dr. Gorecki and are happy to have her join the Lakefront Wellness Center family. Kim works with clients age 13 and older and specializes in anxiety, anger management, stress management and relationship difficulties.

PROMOTION For Tammy Grosczyk, M.A., L.P.C. Tammy was named Marital Wellness Director. Tammy has been instrumental in forming and working in our marital program from its inception.

WE’RE GROWING AGAIN! LFWC is happy to announce the annex office suite to the south of the clinic, 800 mere square feet. This new addition will allow for the future growth of the staff and the enhancement of the marital program. This new space will also be utilized for group meeting and psycho-educational workshops.

STAFF ADDITION LFWC is proud to announce the hiring of Tyler Loomis. Tyler comes to us with a well respected professional service to teens, adults and couples. He has spent several years serving those struggling with sexual addictions and trauma.

EMDR CERTIFICATION Congratulations to Dr. Beth Johnson and Tammy Groszczyk, LPC for completing the EMDR certification training. These certifications allow LFWC to further it’s support to patients with trauma exposure, or who have experienced past failed therapeutic interventions.


  • JUNE

GRAND OPENING On June 1st Tower Behavioral Health relocated from Brookfield to Pewaukee’s Lakefront Park. The clinic was also renamed to Lakefront Wellness Center. The transition was successful for both providers and patients.
